As a consumer and citizen of the US, I demand that the Federal Government and the Agencies that my tax dollars support begin to do the job they were created and exist for. With the recent discovery of the pathogenic organism associated with genetically engineered corn and soy and the related fertility and spontaneous abortions issue showing up in livestock fed these grains, NO NEW GE CROPS SHOULD BE APPROVED UNTIL FURTHER RESEARCH IS COMPLETED ON THIS EVIDENCE. Failure to do so is the utmost is irresponsibility. The public has a right to know conclusively that these foods are safe to consume. And, since no independent, long term human studies have been carried out, there is no proof that they are not causing harm.
