During review of SB 747-53A2685, ANA found typographical error in the SB.
After discussion with Boeing, following clarification has been made per Boeing
message number 1-400030911-4.
1. BACB30BL described in page 20 figure 4 of the SB should be BACC30BL8,
and BACB30BL described in page 20 figure 5 and page 44 of the SB should be
BACC30M6.
2. Per step 2 figure 5 of the SB (page 41), filler -3 should be fabricated from 2024-
T3 clad sheet material, .102 inch thick. However, normal gage is 0.100 inch
thick. Boeing approved filler -3 can be fabricated from 2024-T3 clad sheet .100
inch thick.
Above information will benefit operators to avoid AMOC during repair per SB 747-
53A2685 (paragraph (g) of 2007-NM-169-AD). Please include these information
into paragraph (g) of the AD.
