GE never issued data to the airlines, how many spool down events occurred and
the procedure as required acc. NPRM has not been used by the flight crew.
Consequently it is hard to understand, why this procedure will be now mandetory,
as it is usually common sense to use this procedure. LHT suggests to postpone
the NPRM until the new ECU software mod. has been implemented and GE can
present data which show the need to mandate the OM procedure.
