I have owned and operated Piper Navajo aircraft in several Air Carriers that I
have been either owner or management - including,Valdez Airlines, Security
Aviation, Iliamna Air, and others.
I have reviewed this fix for what has become a haunting concern in safely
operating Navajo aircraft, and I believe it to be a reasonable, cost-effective
way to ensure that the nose baggage door cannot come open in flight.
Please accept this as my strong endorsement for this fix to become an
Airworthiness Directive.
Sincerely,
Nick Oppegard
