I fully support this NPRM for an Airworthiness Directive (AD) and hope it will become a final rule soon! A quick view of Diamond Aircraft mandatory SB #'s MSB 40-070, MSB D4-079, and MSB F4-024 state that compliance with this mandatory service bulletin must be accomplished "Within the next 200 flight hours from the date of effectivity but not later than 30-Jun-2011. The NPRM for an AD lists the compliance date as "within six months after the effective date of this proposed AD". It is my belief that doors falling out off the sky over the general public is a safety hazard. The sooner we get this fixed, the safer we all will be.
