I am writing on behalf of the Ryan White Funds budget cuts after doing 20years in and out of prison and being hiv positive since 1996 i found that there was no option available for me so i went to Health People and they help me tremendously i did the trainings that they had to offer and i learned about my hiv status how to take my meds and how not to infect other people. Today im a proud member of Health People where we do alot of service in the community such as Healthy Relationship groups Testing for hiv hep c and also we go out in the community to talk about prevention although we are in desperate need for funding because of the budget cuts we still stand strong this is my testimony to let people know hiv is not a death sentence i learned that if i take my meds on time eat right and exercise i can live a long and happy life please continue to due more research for a cure and we as people who are Hiv has a voice more funding more prevention . Thank you
