Cat Pow! is an organization for Cats Parents & Owners. This short video (7 minutes) is on the many different risks to catfood from the Fukishima Nuclear Crisis. The melamine debacle already proved our cats are at risk in food safety.
The Japan Nuke Crisis poses an unprecedented danger to the family felines, who really love tuna. The potential risk has been underestimated. Even consumers know fish swim!!!
For years, cat food makers have advertised how much they care about our cats. We ask catfood makers to PROVE IT! (Hiss.....)
Are they selling us Riskies or Friskies???
Our organization is calling for the FDA to:
1. Enact preventative measures to avoid contamination from the Fukishima Nuclear Plant entering our catfood supply PRIOR to the annual migration of tuna to and from the Kuroshio Ridge in June - August 2011. Even consumers know that fish swim!!!
2. Require labels more accurately disclose the specie of tuna and the location of the catch on the can.
So watch our informative video, have a laugh at the cats and let the purring begin!!!
