Special Community Disaster Loan Programs

I believe that Loan Forgiveness would be an appropriate response, especially for senior citizens. For example, my wife, 72, and I, 77, both under doctor's care and on pension and Social Security, secured a SBA loan for home replacement. After insurance reimbursement and Road Home Grant, we were left with a loan balance of over $125,000 for a modest three bedroom home in the Algiers area of New Orleans.
