Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants: List Ozark Hellbender Salamander as Endangered

I was pleased to learn of the proposal to list the Ozark hellbender as endangered under the federal endangered species act. This amazing species should have been listed decades ago. It may already be too late to save it from extinction. But by all means list it and do whatever can be done under the endangered species act to conserve the small number of Ozark hellbenders that is left.
