To whom it may concern, The Tiger beetle should be listed as a threatened species by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife service because it is found no where else on earth except in the Coral Pink Sandunes in Kane County and due its population decline over the last several years. This species of beetle plays a unique role in the ecosystems it inhabits. Once this species is gone, it can never be replaced. Traditionally, in Utah species conservation has taken a back seat to oil and gas drilling, mineral extraction, grazing, logging, OHV use. At times, species and ecosystem conservation should be given priority over these other activities. What kind of world will we leave our children if we don't.
