As a behavioral ecologist I find it increasingly necessary to advocate for stricter protection of natural species and habitats in the US and abroad. This is an unfortunate consequence of accelerated human pressure on native species and habitats throughout the world. Due to increased hunting and loss of natural habitat in Africa, I support the designation of the African Lion as endangered.
