When will you get it, that the helmet is not the answer??? A bandaid does not stop bleeding from an artery; neither will a helmet stop people from dying! Until you increase the span of education to include John Q and Jane Q Public at all levels, nationally, motorcycle deaths will continue to rise. Why? Because people know nothing about motorcycles! They were never explained that a motorcycle is a motor vehicle, and that it has the right to share the road, and that you shouldn't share a lane, that you should be mindful when changing lanes, etc. So until, education on a national level to raise motorcycle awareness occurs, your suggestion is to make a bigger better band aid, while the artery still bleeds and life wanes. Doesn't make sense at all!
