Greenhouse Gas Emissions Standards and Fuel Efficiency Standards: Medium- and Heavy-Duty Engines and Vehicles

I strongly support the establishment of stronger emissions standards for medium and heavy duty vehicles. Energy independence is a critical component of domestic security. Taken in consideration with environmental concerns, it is not only smart but morally imperative that we act to improve emissions and efficiency standards on this major source of greenhouse gases and fuel comsumption. Please do not let this important issue be pushed aside. Our soldiers, taxpayers, and children deserve a brighter, safer, and smarter future.
