the councils are full of commercial fish profiteers who are overfishing and authorizing overfishing. noaa takes the numbers on species from the commercial fish profiteers and they of course give noaa the numbers that let them continue their overfishing. the law of the commons is rampant at nooa. noaa is only responding to commercial fish profiteers. noaa has been an extremely negligent regulator and has presided over the rampant overfishing and near extinction of virtually every known wild fish. noaa also takes our tax dollars and uses it to put more boats in to the ocean when there is really no fish they shoudl be taking. noaa has allowed the commercial fish profiteers to far outstraip anything that nature can provide in regrowing and recouping fish stocks. noaa needs to be shut down and reconstituted. all of the negligent management needs to be fired and out on their ears without jobs. they are parasites on america. everybody in america owns those fish, not commercial fish profiteers only. and they have been allowed to pillage and steal just like the wall street gold old boys and the sec. the situations are quite parallel.
