I have read the document on tuna fishing in the Pacific and completely agree with the extension of the regulations on fishing. If the regulations were permitted to expire without any sort of renewal the tuna population would take on substantial damages. The extended protection allows for sustainable fishing practices that promote a longer lasting source of fish as well as a strong precedent for environmental consciousness that can lead to more active efforts for sustainability in other areas of society.
