As a representative of the radiation calibration community, I am extremely concerned with the implementation of this policy. All three issues described in NRC-2008-0419 will have a significant margin impact on the manufacturers of radiation detection equipment. In addition, these issues will in all likelihood result in inaccurate radiation measurements and potentially unsafe conditions in the community.
