GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy has coordinated with the Nuclear Energy Institute regarding NRC proposed changes to the Enforcement Policy, as delineated in the Federal Register Notice for NRC-2011-0176 and has provided input for the industry comments. In addition, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy representatives participated in the NRC public meeting on these proposed changes held August 31, 2011, in which the NRC provided clarification on the proposed changes. GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy will continue to follow the NRC actions related to enforcement during construction.
