Attached please find the comments of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) on the proposed Interpretive Standards for Systemic Compensation Discrimination and Voluntary Guidelines for Self-Evaluation of Compensation Practices. AAUW has long advocated for “fairness in compensation, equitable access and advancement in employment, and vigorous enforcement of employment antidiscrimination statutes. AAUW is pleased by OFCCP’s decision to rescind the standard and voluntary guideline documents and strengthen its ability to investigate and address compensation discrimination cases. AAUW looks forward to working with OFCCP to develop transparent and effective compensation discrimination investigation procedures that advance OFCCP’s mission and enforcement goals.
