A historical legal code, reference 1, might minimize the burden of your information collection. It was the establishment of the California Veterans' Educational Institute. The purpose of the institute is to provide opportunities for veterans to continue their education. If there was a combined veterans team, yourself and this institute, this institute might accomplish part of your collection to partly reduce your burden. Another possible procedure to handle changes in student status was in the California bill shown in reference 2. The bill's procedure was funding a full training session, but then performing a refund if a cancellation occurred by the 7th day. 36,896 veterans received Education Benefits in the 2009-2010 year of the California Community Colleges per reference 3.
