Allow vets to get treatment by Non-VA Medical Services is they choose. My VAMC is overcrowded and hard for me to get to for early appointments. There are private doctors all around me in my neighborhood that can provide the care I need. Why do I have to drive miles to get pills or have a physical exam? The VA hospitals should be for emergency care and for those who are having operations and need weeks or months to recover such as multi-trauma cases.
