§ 30.203 May I request that a formal probate proceeding be conducted instead of a summary probate proceeding?
Yes. Interested parties who are devisees or eligible heirs have 30 days after the mailing of the notice to file a written request for a formal probate hearingWhat will happen if the funds in the estate are insufficient to provide each heir or devisee at least one cent?
If the funds in the estate are insufficient to provide each of the heirs or devisees at least one cent, all of the funds will be paid to the oldest heir or devisee, whichever is applicable.
