Smoking Cessation Program under TRICARE

The American Lung Association appreciates the opportunity to comment on the Department of Defense’s (DOD) proposed rule regarding the Smoking Cessation Program Under TRICARE. We congratulate DoD on the comprehensive approach taken in implementing this program, but we have specific concerns about the provision in some of the access limitations in the proposed rule and want to share our relevant experiences in helping smokers quit.
