National Task Force To Develop Model Contingency Plans To Deal With Lengthy Airline On-Board Ground Delays

Please no new regulations; they will only raise the cost and limit the flexibility of airlines to deal with dynamic situations. Regulations will fail to conceive of every situation and will cause more problems than they solve. The only tangible result will be higher costs for passengers. I travelled approximately 30,000 miles on airplanes in 2007 and did not encounter any problems that would be solved with government regulations. If the airlines can't solve this problem on thier own, they'll go out of business. Please let people "vote" for airlines that solve the problem with their dollars.
