Senior Community Service Employment Program: Additional Indicator on Volunteer Work

As a host agency for SCSEP, American Red Cross Mid Alabama Region supports a proposed additional indicator for SCSEP linked to volunteer work, although we would urge you to consider simplifying the definition of this performance indicator and the related data collection requirements. Adding such an indicator should encourage low-income older adults to do volunteer work after leaving SCSEP.
