Dear Government, You must reconsider enacting this new rule to expand restricted airspace by Lake George and Pinecastle. I am a VFR pilot and cannot exercise the flexiblilty of IFR pilots who can file a flight plan and go straight through. If made into a rule, I will have to fly an extra 60 nautical miles to go around this proposed blockage. This also equates to more fuel burned to get to my destination. But also it is a safety concern for VFR pilots. This will take away an option to avoid bad weather that exists usually to the North and possibly to the South of the proposed restriction. Can the Navy not practice over the ocean or in a simulator? This just seems like another airspace grab to shut down GA. Also, if this is for laser training, will this not be a danger for civilians on the ground around the area? Thank you for your consideration, Kathryn E Koshan
