Summary: CF6-80C2 Engine Fuel Flowmeter and IDG Fuel-Oil Cooler tubes and spray shield replacement at next access or engine shop visit. The current revision to NPRM 99-NE-24-AD omitted paragraph (g) which defined Engine Shop Visit as the induction of an engine into the shop for any reason in the previous NPRM. However Atlas Air believes paragraph (g) needs to be kept in the revised NPRM because there are Engine Shop Visits that do not involve access to the affected area. Atlas Air would like clarification on which Engine Shop Visits will require a mandatory compliance of the new AD.
