I as a consumer and healthcare provider, do not agree with the use of materials derived from cattle in human food or cosmetics. With the amount of recalls that occur both in the food and drug industries due to mishandling, mislabeling, production equipment not working correctly, how could we question the use of this type of product? If the FDA finds this type of additive or ingredient to be allowed what type of safety requirements will be enforced? Labeling standards should be such that the consumer knows these ingredients are in the product they are purchasing.
