The Dunes Sagebrush Lizard should not be listed as an endangered species and the Endangered Species Act should be repealed or substantially amended to protect for the economic welfare of the citizens of the United States. The current administration has taken the position that the U. S. should reduce it's dependance on foreign oil, but unfortunately federal regulations continue to diminish efforts within the U. S. to increase domestic production, strengthen the economy and protect the welfare of the U. S. and its citizens. As an American citizen and registered voter, I oppose the Fish and Wildlife Service's efforts to list the Dunes Sagebrush Lizard as it devastate the economy of New Mexico while doing very little to protect the lizard.
