I am alarmed that there is no afforded protection for the Wolverine.
As an essential part of the great American web of wildlife, it is distressing that earlier action hasn't been approved to protect this fascinating creature.
The populations are extraordinarily low already, and with the impact of climate change, habitat is rapidly disappearing.
This situation needs to be fast tracked, and action needs to be implemented as soon as possible.
California was one of the largest natural homes to the species and one sole animal has found its way back into the region. I believe, as the report suggests, that California, Colorado, along with Oregon and number of other Western states afford a new, and immediate refuge for this imperiled animal
Please approve this protections as quickly as possible
