I strongly appose the new 2011 NMFS Quota Rule that will deduct 160 metric tons of U.S bluefin and increase total Allowable Catch and Use this Quota to Cover Estimated Longline Discards in 2011. I worked on longline boats back in the 90's, it was disgusting to see the discards that were hooked, how this type of fishing is allowed I will never understand, how the dragging is allowed I still don't understand, but it seems the fisherman that care about the ocean keep getting screwed.. Please reconsider Todd mackechnie
