Notice No. 121: Establishment of Wisconsin Ledge Viticultural Area

I fully support the establishment of the Wisconsin Ledge Viticultural Area. The local vineyards and wineries work too hard to not be able to mark their own wine as estate grown. By passing this proposal, wineries will finally be able to tell the rest of the world that they make locally grown wines by using the Wisconsin Ledge AVA branding on their labels. Beyond the winery and vineyard benefits, passing this proposal can only help boost tourism and marketing for other WI businesses, events and groups within Wisconsin Ledge Viticultural area.
