Area J of the redesign has a floor at 4000 MSL. Lancaster County-McWhirter Field (LKR) has an existing use to 4000 AGL. That is to about 4,500 MSL. The response to comments indicates that the 4000 MSL class B shelf height will not impact operations at LKR. That is not the case.
The responses do not make clear how arrivals from the southeast and from the west would have to cross paths or receive vectors at 3500 AGL, 30 NM from the airport.
3500 AGL seems pretty low for an airliner over Lancaster, NC, 30 NM from the point of intended landing. They will be scraping along over 15NM of the Catawba River, and over the communities of Fort Lawn, Lancaster, Springdell, Van Wyck, and Fort Mill.
