I think that its about time that we implemented some conservation measures on
our fisheries. I think that the new rules look good. NMFS should constantly post
(online) where we stand in regards to fish caught and how close we are to the
annual alowable limit, so fishermen can plan accordingly. I have no problem
buying a permit or license to fish, as long as its not outrageously priced. I
hope more people support these new rules. hopefully with the new rules we can
get the fishery back to "the old days" where you could catch a 'paka or onaga on
every drop.
