I am very pleased with what you are going to do. I am disturbed by what you are not going to do.
Evaluation by Doctor to determine if any other assistance device would work other than Service Dog. I thought patients had a Civil Right to choices in their own health care selections?
I NOTICE THAT SERVICE DOGS FOR PTSD ARE NOT ON YOUR LIST OF SERVICE DOGS TO BE COVERED BY VA VETERINARY CARE???? In 2009 Congress passed a Bill that the VA would supply Service Dogs for PTSD for Veterans, and the VA not only has not supplied Service Dogs for PTSD for Veterans, the VA won't pay medical cost for the PTSD Dogs placed with Veterans by civilian organizations?
Come on VA get your act together,
