I strongly disagree with the act they made in 2010. My step-dad is a veteran. He goes down to the VA regularly to get check-ups and will be going into to surgery soon (hopefully). I myself would never have the courage to sacrifice my life in the way that our armed forces do on a regular bases, but i do know that they do deserve counseling when they return home. I believe the VA is supposed to be a place were our veterans can turn too for anything. I do not know anyone who has suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, but i do know it is a serious illness and needs professional attention. If our men and woman cant come back and be able to turn to the VA for counseling, then I believe they have no one to turn too. It is out duty as civilians do all that is humanly possible to help our soldiers/veterans all we can when they come home!
