So, why did we spend all that money on the Readiness Assessment and then do the exact opposite of what the results said. A year is way too long...some organizations have spent millions of dollars to be compliant with the October 1, 2013 deadline...and now they have to elongate that approach and spend more money to keep people on the payroll or turn people loose, all because of the delay...I wish, I truly wish you CMS would get their act together. It has become a big joke to issue deadlines, knowing that they will be changed by CMS. Makes it hard to trust our governmental "partner". Make it six months...or less. I guarantee that the doctors will still not be ready.
